- DescriptionUSA, 1946, restored print, 35mm, b/w, 97 min. Directed by John Ford, with Henry Fonda, Linda Darnell and Victor Mature. In Ford's retelling of the Wyatt Earp story, Wyatt becomes enamored of Doc Holiday's old flame, Clementine. Naturally, it all culminates in the shootout at the O.K. Corral, which Ford, who claims to have heard the story from Wyatt himself, says is absolutely authentic.
