DESCRIPTION:IceCube is a collaborative effort between multiple research institutions
  with a heterogeneous collection of computing resources that are difficu
 lt to integrate into a common grid environment. IceProd is an in-house s
 oftware package written in Python/MySQL and used for cataloging\, managi
 ng and monitoring of Monte Carlo production and processing of IceCube de
 tector data. IceProd was designed to provide a direct interface between 
 various grid tools and the IceCube software framework.
