- DescriptionIn Jamaica, Moonshine is a gathering under the full moon of communities sharing songs, dance, poetry and storytelling. In the true study of African diasporic culture, dance lecturer and First Wave artistic director Chris Walker brings this ritual to campus to honor past traditions and celebrate future trends in black arts and movement. Featured are African Performance 277, the First Wave Hip Hop Theater Ensemble, UW Breakers Club, Fundamentally Sound and more.
