- DescriptionPaul DeLuca, vice dean, School of Medicine and Public Health, and associate dean, Research and Graduate Studies. In clinical trials, conflicts of interest have the potential to lead to scientific misconduct. Nearly every aspect of clinical trials is scrutinized to prevent such misconduct, including the examination of funding sources, trial design, patient enrollment and content of published results. DeLuca will share his experiences in providing oversight for such trials.
