- DescriptionParticipants will learn how to find "free" programs on the Internet as well as how to use open source programs for a variety of tasks. Explore presentation and other "productivity" functions using Sun's OpenOffice suite of programs, and see image editing similar to Adobe Photoshop with the GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program). Statistics and Web design will also be shown using the R statistical environment and Nvu respectively. Advanced registration is required.
