 n how to find "free" programs on the Internet as well as how to use open so
 urce programs for a variety of tasks. Explore presentation and other "produ
 ctivity" functions using Sun's OpenOffice suite of programs\, and see image
  editing similar to Adobe Photoshop with the GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation P
 rogram). Statistics and Web design will also be shown using the R statistic
 al environment and Nvu respectively. Advanced registration is required.
