UW-Madison faculty member Charles Franklin will share examples of data visualization and discuss helping students and the public make sense of political data. If you plan to use data visualization in your teaching, come and learn how Franklin has honed this topic for his course Understanding Political Numbers. Franklin’s academic research focuses on advanced statistical and graphical analysis of public opinion and election outcomes. Light refreshments will be served. Presented by Engage.
