Climate Science, Powering Our Planet, and Rare Materials: A Role for Visualization

Date
Thursday, November 29, 2012
Time

Description
Our world requires that we visualize models beyond our own scale. This is imperative to understand climate science, make energy choices, or comprehend how life depends on rare materials often inaccessible to many. We will examine strategies for Visualization in Science to meet the challenge of finding new ways to see and understand. How can we help scientists and policy makers visualize solutions across disciplines and beyond paralysis at the scale and complexity of our planetary boundaries?
