Description
For thousands of years, human beings have asked whether free will is possible in a deterministic universe. This talk investigates the role of determinism and randomness in free will, and shows that even when our decisions arise from a completely deterministic decision-making process, the outcomes of that process are intrinsically unpredictable — especially to ourselves.
