Join us for a book reading and signing of her novel Caminata! Caminata tells the story of Beth Pellegrino, a young woman who goes to Honduras to help the orphaned girls of La Casa de los Niños. In the course of her work, Beth accompanies four of the girls on a journey, or "caminata," to their birthplaces. Their journeys explore different aspects of motherlessness, identity, and coming of age, charting a path toward self-realization — not only for the girls, but for Beth herself.
