Experiment with color theory and painting in a classic medium in this 8-week course. Pastels offer a beautiful range of color and a light, lacy texture. Create realistic drawings and paintings in pastel, and achieve the impressionist style without the burden of canvas or paint. Demonstrations in layering, mixing color, pastel portraits, and pastel landscapes will get you started in pastel painting.
