Description
There is an assessment in the US that China's growth has peaked. But this assessment cannot be squared with China's progress on the technological fronts. In this lecture, Prof. Yao Yang (Peking University) will discuss how China's slowdown is rather a consequence of the government's deliberate adjustment on both the economic and political fronts that aims at correcting the vices accumulated in the reform era. With those corrections, China will have a healthier political and social environment.
