Description
What are the trends in today's technological applications to the humanities that echo "new" technologies from the past? Moveable type and the printing press expanded access, democratized the humanities, and sparked fear over the impact these new technologies would have on the quality of work in the humanities. Subsequent and recent advances in technology, and their application to the humanities, have likewise expanded opportunities and also evoked similar fears.
