Weston Roundtable

A decade of drought, then very wet periods, placed challenges on Australia’s water sustainability. Research on water management for urban, rural and environmental needs includes mechanisms to drought-proof urban areas, improve environmental flows and ensure water for industry and farming. Studies include modelling the impact of climate change on water supply and quality, ways to increase recycled and alternative water sources, and social responses to changes in urban water management.
