UW Dance Department Friday Forum

Wendy Boehm will present a talk on the topic of walking and upright posture. Boehm is a third graduate student pursuing her PhD in Biomedical Engineering. Her studies focus on the biomechanics of walking and how healthy and disabled individuals control upright posture. In particular, her research focuses on the walking impairment observed after stroke and how rehabilitation can better address that impairment.
