Description
Dr. Yehoash Raphael is the R. Jamison and Betty Williams Professor of Otolaryngology in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Michigan. His work has advanced the methodology for using gene therapy as a potential therapeutic tool for prevention of hearing loss, regeneration of hair cells in the auditory and vestibular epithelium, and for inducing nerve fiber growth in ears that receive cochlear implants.
