Description
Providing an important corrective to simplistic, de-politicized narratives of feminist history, Gordon & Henry present a rich account of collective action and feminist activism across divides of class, race, and difference from the 1920's to the present day. Gordon is University Professor of the Humanities & History at NYU. Henry is Louise R. Noun Chair in Women's Studies at Grinnell.
