Philosopher Alain Badiou bridges mathematics and psychoanalysis, poetry and politics to focus on how truth is produced and the conditions through which it emerges. This will be the first of two lectures in which he considers the relevance of philosophy in today’s world.
Presented by the UW Madison Center for the Humanities in partnership with the Havens Center for the Study of Social Justice.
