The historical and contemporary intersection between these two complex communities will be the topic of discussion for the evening. Dr. Roberta Hill (Oneida) and Dr. Larry Nespar will discuss issues such as slave holding tribes and tribes that assisted and adopted run-away slaves to current issues of tribal recognition of Black Indian decedents.
