Lecture: "Experiences in Mali and lessons for American Lives and Culture"

During his time with the Democracy Campaign, McCabe led several successful efforts to make government more transparent for its citizens. He formerly was comm. director and legislative liaison for the Madison Schl. Dist., a legislative aide, State Assembly candidate and newspaper reporter.

Mike was raised on his family's dairy farm in Clark County and is a grad of UW-Madison, with degrees in journalism and political science. He served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Mali from 1989 – 1991.
