Lecture: Max Rameau

Rameau expands on his "Forward From Ferguson," mapping a template for a movement against police brutality and for community control of police. He co-founded the group eventually known as Take Back the Land, exploring how the Black community could address root causes of gentrification. The lecture kicks off a new community collaboration, part of the Comparative US Studies Group's Racial Justice and Incarceration Speaker Series, and opens the Young Gifted and Black's Black Lives Matter Series.
